New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority is pleased to be working with Resilient Buildings Group, Inc. on an energy audit benchmarking project for properties financed with New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority funds.  The goal of this effort is to determine how buildings are performing from an energy standpoint and to compare them to other buildings of similar size and use in the region.  This effort will allow you to decide whether or not there is the potential for energy and cost savings through reductions in energy consumption and improvements in energy efficiency.

The cost of each individual energy audit is approximately $400 and New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority will approve the use of replacement reserve funds to pay for the audit.  Although this project is voluntary, New Hampshire Housing encourages you to participate.  If you decide to participate, Resilient Buildings Group, Inc. at some point will need the following information about your property:
  • Name and address
  • Square footage of conditioned space
  • Number of units
  • Utility provider(s)
  • Utility account number(s)
  • Fuel type and type of heating system

If you are interested or have questions, please feel free to contact me and I will help to assist you.  I have attached a link to an article on the benefits of benchmarking formulated by the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy, http://aceee.org/sector/local-policy/toolkit/benefits-benchmarking.

If you received this email and are already participating in the project, please disregard.  We do appreciate your participation.
