Dear parents and families,

A huge thank you and congratulations to Mr. John Perkins for completing his Eagle Scout Project and making our campus look that much more beautiful. John, with the help from some other scouts, landscaped all around the front of the senior building, cleaned and painted our statues, stripped and painted out benches, and installed new nets on our basketball hoops. Thank you John and all the scouts who helped!

Please be on the lookout for our first edition of the PTO newsletter which is printed and being sent home tomorrow!

Please continue to pray for Mrs. Wenger and her family as they recover following the passing of their 26 year old son. Also please keep in your prayers the Ryan family as the deal with the loss of their daughter, and the recovery of their other daughter. We continue to pray for the repose of the souls of Benjamin Wenger and Abigail Ryan. I will communicate more information as it becomes available with services.

Today a counselor was made available to our 4th-8th grade students and staff in case any wanted to speak to someone about this difficult time. The conversations were in private, but if any continued help or counseling is needed I will work with Catholic Charities, the diocese, and our families to ensure we provide it to our students.

This week is the final chance to send in orders for the mixed bag fundraiser to the office. Don't miss out on some of the amazing deals available to your or on this chance to help St. Michaels!

Our students have one more week of Scantron testing. This is conducted in Computer class for the first sessions. There is no need to study or cram for these tests, their purpose is to gather useful data on our students for you and our teachers to best assist them in their academic growth. We do ask that students be on time and present if possible for computer classes next week. There is a specific timeframe that Scantron tests can be given, and once the window closes we no longer can administer the test.

God bless,

Daniel Cinalli
