Washington International Horse Show
Free Attendance - Washington International Horse Show - if I'm contacted by close of business September 20

  
The Washington International Horse Show (WIHS)  is offering complimentary tickets to area first responders. The event will take place at the Capital One Arena (formerly Verizon Center), Washington, DC on Friday October 27 starting at 7:00PM.

Through special invitation by the Washington DC Chapter of the Concern of Police Survivors (COPS), the chapter has extended this program to Eagle Chapter members; but, only if we respond by tomorrow - September 20.

I am so sorry for the late notice.  I have been very, very busy.  Pls contact me soonest if you are interested.  I need to know how many tickets you request.

Reminder: Eagle Chapter USAF SF 20th Anniversary Celebratory Luncheon - Dover Air Force Base DE
With great pleasure, we are delighted to announce that Colonel Randy L. Boswell, Commander of the 436th Mission Support Group, Dover Air Force Base, Del, will be our keynote speaker for the Eagle Chapter luncheon at the Landings Club at Dover DE on September 26, 2017.
 
Chief Master Sergeant (Retired) Daryl Janicki, one of the architects of the creation of the Security Forces career field back in 1997, has confirmed! 
 
We are just six days away.  We have the base commander all to ourselves. Come on out!
 
Free to Tech Sergeants and below - all you can eat for only $15.00 for or $14.00 if you are a club member. 
 
All attendees will receive a Defensor Fortis flag with a special Eagle Chapter 20th anniversary streamer, an inscribed, USAF SF commemorative pen combo LED flashlight embedded, plus the special program and a delicious anniversary cake.
 
The chapter will be making our annual donations to the 436th SF Booster Club and the 436 SF Key Spouse Club. We hope to see you there!!!
  
Reminder: Eagle Chapter Celebrates 20th Anniversary USAF SF Luncheon at the Pentagon on October 10

Lt Gen Stayce Harris, Assistant Vice Chief of Staff, HQ USAF is our keynote speaker to close out our 20th Anniversary Luncheon Celebration of the US Air Force Security Forces. 

 

Chief Master Sergeant Tamala Hartz, our SF Career Field Manager, will be in attendance. 

 

Chief Master Sergeant (Retired) Daryl Janicki will also speak as one of the architects of the "new" combined security forces career field.

A few more notes about this raffle:

 

1. What if I lost my tickets?  No problem. We have records of every ticket sold.  You nor your tickets have to  be present to win. 

 

2. Tickets are available online through the Eagle Exchange and can be bought at any chapter luncheon by Oct 10 at 2359PM/1159PM.

 

3.  We will hold the raffle on Oct 14. This will be the final of our events to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the USAF Security Forces. The winner must send me a selfie with him or her and their weapon when they have redeemed the certificate with Sig Sauer. Not really required but will be greatly appreciated. :-)

  Eagle Chapter Board Meeting - October 4

Our next chapter board meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 8:00PM. Eagle Chapter Board Meetings are open to members and significant others who would like to participate.

 

We hold our chapter board meetings on the first Wednesday of the month at 8PM via conference call.

 

Contact the Eagle Chapter Secretary, Chris Walker, for more information.
In closing, we've been provided a special opportunity to participate with the DC C.O.P.S chapter to attend this event that the Washington International Horse Show on October 27.   Again, sorry for the late notice. 
 
Please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested in attending and the number of tickets needed. 
 
Next Tuesday, September 26, Eagle Chapter Luncheon - we have the Base Commander all to ourselves at the Landings Club at Dover.
