Our magnificent installation on the roof of the Scarborough Manor Cooperative Residential Complex -- now considered to be "the largest residential solar array in Westchester County" -- is performing beyond expectation: on track to offset 25% of total annual electricity usage on the property including all usage for common areas (the lobbies, hallways, exterior and interior lighting, the pool area, and the clubhouse) -- PLUS all usage for all 205 private apartments!
Scarborough Manor, a 205-unit cooperative residential complex in Ossining, N.Y., started saving energy as soon as we flipped the switch on the installation, which is equipped with an expansive solar energy system of 456.6 kilowatts.It features 1,474 solar panels and is located on the rooftops of two seven-story residential buildings and one two-story amenities center. Scarborough Manor is now the largest residential solar project in Westchester County.
