THE SINKING SPRINGS SPIRIT
September 2017
MCL at  Sinking Springs

This year Sinking Springs will...
-Meet our learners at their individual levels
-Allow learners to use their best learning style
-Facilitate learning through high interest concepts
-Provide learners challenging activities that lead to success
-Challenge our learners with rigorous learning outcomes
-Develop relationships with our learners that make them excited to return  to Sinking Springs tomorrow!

Over the first few weeks of school, Mrs. Hartman and Mrs. Warntz sparked our learners' interest in reading through a
variety  of engaging opportunities.

Learners have been challenged to  Read the Alphabet , selecting a book with a title from each letter of the alphabe t.

Our school lobby now houses our Little Free Library! Learners can donate books and select books to take home for their reading pleasure.

Throughout the year, we will have book raffles, where learners can  receive raffle tickets for showing their Sinking Springs SPIRIT!

Mrs. Hartman and Mrs. Warntz have met with all classes to discuss these exciting  opportunities. Take a moment to ask your child how they have participated this year!
