MP Profile
Meet Mr. Trey Bernard.
He and his wife, Amanda, are both MP alumni (2004 and 2006, respectively), and they have been married for 3 years. They are expecting their first child in February. They also have two cats, Steve and Cooper, and a dog, Rosie. He is in his 7th year of teaching math, and his 4th year on the Freshman Campus at MP. When asked what he likes most about his job, he said "imparting knowledge and building relationships with my students." His hobbies include running, tennis, trivia, hanging out with friends, and reading. When asked if he could go back in time what year would he travel to and why, he said "You are asking a historian this question--I would say 1787 so I would be be a part of the society that helped to shape America as it is today." He said that if he did not have to sleep, he would use the extra time to watch Netflix for all of the TV shows that he is missing. When people come to him for help, they usually need help with math or history.
He said his wife has influenced his life the most, and that she has made all the difference. His animals keep him up at night. Mr. Bernard is ambidextrous and he has been told that he starred in the movie,
Chicken Little, as his father.
