The addition of Ms. Selby adds to HSP's growing expertise in cyber-related security and risk management
NEW YORK, September 19th, 2017 - Hanover Stone Partners, a risk management services firm with expertise in a broad range of critical risk disciplines,  today announced the appointment of Judy Selby as a senior risk advisor. The addition of Ms. Selby adds to the firm's growing expertise in cyber-related security and risk management.

An attorney, Ms. Selby is based in the Greater New York City area and has more than 25 years of experience handling large-scale, complex first- and third-party insurance coverage litigation and arbitrations, as well as coverage gap analysis and insurance policy drafting.

Previously, she was a managing director with BDO USA, LLP. From 2010 to 2016, Ms. Selby was a partner at Baker & Hostetler LLP and served as co-chair of the firm's information governance team. Earlier in her career, she was an associate with Simpson Thatcher & Bartlett and subsequently, a partner with Clyde & Co LLP.

A frequent commentator in the major business, legal and insurance news media, Ms. Selby authored the ebook, Big Data for Business Leaders. What Today's Decision Makers Need to Know. She earned a J.D. degree from Brooklyn Law School and completed certificate programs in finance at Harvard Business School HBX; and on big data, crisis management/business continuity, cyber security and the internet of things (IoT) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Professional Education.

She serves on the LegalTech education board and is a member of NY Metro InfraGard. A former co-chair of the CLM Cyber Committee, she also is a past member of the Law360 Insurance editorial board and of the LegalTech editorial board.
