Fill out your application today to complete your part of the "More Than a Meal" Campaign.
Title I funds help support our students in numerous ways, and we need your help to reach our goal of 72%.   It only takes a few minutes to help your child’s school get much needed resources.

This year, Title I funds from meal ticket applications are paying for teaching positions, academic counselors, and numerous resources to help our students reach our 100% graduation goal. Not meeting our lunch application goal could be catastrophic to funding positions that help all students, including those who are most at-risk. The deadline to reach our goal of 72% is almost here, so please don’t wait.

Student Recovery Day

On Thursday, September 14th, Hamilton High School was one of the host sites for the 9th Annual Student Recovery Day. District leaders and volunteers came together to help reconnect with students who have been chronically absent or truant.

Early Out Procedure
Please remember to follow the appropriate early-out policy. Have your student bring the parent note to the attendance office (101) before school starts, and the office will send the early-out pass to the student at the appropriate time to ensure they are out on time.
PSAT
The PSAT will take place Wednesday, October 11th. The PSAT is free for all 10th graders. Students in 9th and 11th grade who wish to take the test may do so by registering in the college office room 503 at nutrition or lunch. The last day to register will be Thursday, September 21st. The exam cost is $16. Please have students bring exact change.
School Calendar Survey
At the January 10, 2017 Board meeting, the Division of District Operations was directed to secure an objective, outside agency to assist LAUSD with the administration of a school calendar survey for families and employees.

Each family with child/children in PreK-12 traditional elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as primary centers, early education centers, special education centers, options schools, and affiliated charter schools will receive a paper survey packet sent home with students. If a family has more than one child enrolled in LAUSD schools, the survey is sent home with the oldest sibling.

The paper surveys will be sent home this week.     An online survey option is also available with more details included in the survey packet. The online survey link will go live on September 18.
