Beyond Las Vegas
Gun Safety—A Conversation
This Wednesday, November 8, 7pm
Clergy and interfaith religious leaders have signed a letter that was published in local newspapers a week ago. The message was spiritual solidarity for those who suffered from the massacre in Las Vegas when 58 were killed and hundreds injured in the shooting. The letter emphasized our common heart, scriptures from our three faith traditions that speak to our shared pain and was a witness against the violence.  Peter+ and I signed the letter and support an invitation for all our citizens to come together for a conversation on gun safety. St Francis Church will be the site for this public discussion facilitated by outside leaders.
