 Join members of the community in a set of weekend events led by visiting scholars-in-residence Rabbi Rachel Barenblat and Rabbi David Evan Markus. We will explore Jewish tradition and modernity, music and poetry, silence and dance, the beautiful and yearning poetry of Havdalah, why angels matter in Jewish culture and liturgy, how to multitask with spirituality, the mystical meanings of mitzvot, and 'renewal' tools to enrich your worship and re-envision Judaism in new and exciting ways.

* For Students and Parents on Sunday, November 5, 10:30-11:15 am - Mitzvah and Mysticism. Mitzvot (the doings of Jewish life, like light shabbat candles and placing mezuzot on doorposts) embed deep mystical and spiritual meanings. We'll explore hidden uncommon meanings to common mitzvot and how combining mitzvah and mysticism can power up spiritual life.

Super Hero Shabbat Family Service with Preneg
Friday, November 10 at 6:00 pm (Service 6:30 pm)
With great power, comes great responsibility! And, in this case, your responsibility is to bring all of your superpowers to TBC for a very special family Shabbat! On November 10th, we will ASSEMBLE and celebrate Shabbat like the superheroes that we are!
Join us at 6:30 pm (Pre-Neg at 6:00pm) for our very first SUPERHERO SHABBAT where we will experience the prayers of Shabbat through the eyes of our favorite superheroes!
PS: Don't forget to protect your secret identity by COMING IN COSTUME!

Join us for Consecration and a Shabbat family service starting at 6:00 pm with a kid-friendly Preneg (pizza & veggies). At 6:30, Shabbat worship and Consecration followed by an Oneg with a certified nut-free option at the dessert table.

Fiddler on the Roof All-Star Community Staged Reading
Sunday, December 3 at 4:00 pm
The Federation for Jewish Philanthropy of Upper Fairfield County, Upper Fairfield County Rabbis, Cantors, Community Leaders, and more present a script-in-hand reading of the classic Broadway musical, singing all of Fiddler's most popular songs accompanied by a volunteer community orchestra and choral ensemble.
All proceeds from this event will benefit the Federation's work to impact our extended Jewish family in the former Soviet Union.

Share Your Simcha - Sponsor a Preneg, Oneg or Flowers!
A wonderful way of celebrating special simchas, such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, the birth of a child or grandchild, is sharing your nachas with the entire congregation by sponsoring the Shabbat Oneg, Preneg or Flowers for the Friday of your special week. No special occasion? You can still sponsor a Shabbat! We will arrange for the flowers, food and set-up, you just make a minimum donation of $125 for an Oneg, $180 for a Preneg or $250 for the flowers. Sponsor a Shabbat
