We know our teachers are great teachers, but here are some things you don't know.
This week featuring Mrs. DeSouza
(7th Grade)
- Do you prefer a mountain hideaway or beach house? I grew up living close to Cape Cod and the Islands, so a beach house is definitely preferable over mountain hideaway!
2. What motivates you to work hard?
My students and my son, Xavier. When I see how hard my students work, I remember my own goals. Xavier makes me want to be the best version of myself.
3.
If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to and why?
That is a loaded question! I would suppose a proper answer would be somewhere a long, long time ago; however, I would LOVE to go back and relive my son's first year. He is growing up so fast, and I just want to snuggle with the tiny baby he once was...what mom wouldn't want that back for a little while?
4. If you could do anything for a day, what would it be?
I would love to sit in on a song writing session or a recording session. Either would be fascinating. Who wouldn't want to see the process of a song being created?

Our Halloween parade was a great success! I want to thank the parents for their enthusiasm and for joining us for snacks & refreshments.
Fr. Rob graced us by blessing our statue of St. Aloysius and reminded the students that Pope Benedict XIII declared Aloysius de Gonzaga, to be the patron saint of young students. In addition, Fr. Rob blessed each classroom, the gym and playground. Let's keep those blessings in our hearts as we do our best with our studies this year!
Wednesday we remembered All Saints Day. It was a day to honor all of the holy men and women who have gone before us and devoted their daily living to loving God and walking in His ways. We, as Catholics, have the same call and we must believe that we, too, can be saints. Thursday was All Souls Day and we remembered all of those in our families who have died.
On Friday, November 10th at 1:30 p.m., we invite all our families and Veterans to our annual Veterans Day Assembly. If you are a Veteran or know of a Veteran who would like to participate and share a few words about their service, please contact the office at [email protected]. We ask participating Veterans to arrive at 1:00 pm. We will thank our America's Veterans for bravely doing what they were called to do so we can safely do what we're free to do!
Let's wish a Family Fun Day to those who have signed up to cheer on the Sound Tigers as they take on Springfield this weekend!
One last note, please be sure to check out the NEW After School Clubs being offered for Session II (Please Click Here) which begins the week of December 3rd. Flyers can also be found in the main school lobby
