There will be lots of fun for the whole family on the front lawn of Montgomery High School Thursday, June 29th (rain date July 6th)! Starting at 6 pm, there will be plenty of games and activities for children, food vendors selling everything from hotdogs, hamburgers, grilled chicken and pizza to delicious deserts like cheesecake, ice cream and the ever-popular kettle corn and funnel cakes. Get there early to get a great picnic spot under the stars!  Feel free to bring a blanket or chairs and enjoy the sounds of  'The John Oakes Band'   playing hits from today and yesterday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm up on the stage. After the singing of the Star Spangled Banner at dusk (approx. 9:15 pm), get ready for a spectacular display of patriotic fireworks, sure to bring out the kid in everyone!

Thank you to Blood Drive Donors!
On behalf of the Montgomery Township Health Department, we would like to extend a big thank-you to all residents, community partners and employees who rolled up their sleeves on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the Montgomery Township Blood Drive. We collected 29 donations, which helped save 87 lives of patients in the hospitals in need of blood transfusions.

Whether you booked an appointment, came in with family members to show your support, or just stopped by because you saw our signs along the roadway, your time and donations were greatly appreciated!

June 21 st marks the first day of summer, but it also marks the start of a seasonal decline in blood and platelet donations. Unfortunately, during the summer months, blood supplies run critically short, especially with many people being away on vacations. Blood has a very short shelf life and therefore, must be replenished regularly. Most people think that blood is going to be there should they ever need it, or if a loved one needs it, but it won't always be the case if people don't come out to donate.
