Fall Fun for All!
On Friday, October 27, Ridgecroft's junior class hosted its First Annual Fall Festival and Cornhole Tournament. Crowds of costumed students and families enjoyed the various games and treats while the line for the haunted house snaked throughout the gym for the entire evening! Congratulations to fifth graders Trace Farmer and Cameron Martin for winning the cornhole tournament. They defeated teams comprised of members more than three times their age! And congratulations to the Class of 2019 for putting together an amazing night. Through their efforts, they raised more than $4000 for the prom!

Fresh Fruit for the Holidays
The Ridgecroft Music Program is selling grove-fresh Florida citrus that will arrive just in time for holiday gift-giving. Choose from navel oranges, red grapefruit, juice oranges, and tangerines, or mixed boxes. Order forms are available in the front office or from any band member or 4th or 5th grade student. Orders are due November 13 and will be available for pick-up the week of December 11. For more information, contact Ridgecroft music director

Local Talent on Display
On Wednesday, November 1, art lovers of all ages attended the opening reception of the Ridgecroft Art Show. Numerous local artists were on hand to talk with guests and discuss their work. The art show continued on Thursday and Friday and sales remained steady. Local artist Laura Beasley, a member of the Ridgecroft Class of 1975, was the show's featured artist.

Holiday Soldier Supply Drive |
Ridgecroft Cares
Please join grades 3-5 as they host a supply drive for Private First Class Stephen Wildey and his fellow platoon members of the 1st Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division of the U. S. Army. Stephen is the cousin of Ridgecroft 5th grader Landon Burgess, and he and his fellow servicemen and women are currently stationed in Kandahar, Afghanistan.
Students are collecting items to remind the soldiers of home and make their holidays a little happier. In addition to toiletry items, snacks, entertainment, and household items, the students are collecting letters and cards of encouragement and well wishes. A complete list of donation ideas is available in the front office. All donations are due by November 15 and monetary contributions to help defray mailing costs are welcome.

New Spin on a Ridgecroft Tradition!
On December 1, Ridgecroft will be the place to be for holiday cheer! The teachers' annual Homestyle Holiday Bazaar will be held from 8:00 to 3:00 PM, with gift baskets for auction, baked goods for sale, vendors, and a toy room for the kids. The junior class will sponsor its traditional Lunch with Santa, PTO greenery will be available for pick up, and the Christmas Concert will be held, time to be determined. Please join us for this festive Christmas spectacular. It is not to be missed!

Cheer on the Rams!
The Ridgecroft School Cheerleaders will hold the 2017 Ramette Cheer Camp for students in grades K-5 Saturday, November 11, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM. The cost is $30 and includes a t-shirt and lunch. All proceeds will benefit the cheerleading program. Registration forms were sent home with students and are available in the front office.

On Monday, November 20, give the cook the night off and join the cheerleaders for dinner at Pizza Inn from 5:30 PM until closing. The cheerleaders will be waiting tables and will receive 10% of buffet sales and all tips.
