Mission Presbytery Purpose Statement
We are Mission Presbytery, serving Christ in the World. In the Reformed Tradition, together we
  • Establish and equip congregations and sessions to carry out their missions;
  • Recruit, receive, ordain, develop, and care for those called to service in the church;
  • Enable mission and witness to the Gospel that congregations cannot accomplish alone; and
  • Steward our resources faithfully and generously.

We are better together.

November 5, 4:00 PM
Alamo Drafthouse, 5701 W Slaughter Ln, Austin TX

Out of Order is a groundbreaking feature documentary revealing the complex and painful struggles faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) faith leaders as they confront entrenched bigotry and work to build loving support with their churches. Rev. John Stanger and Alex McNeill, both featured in the film, will be in attendance.

This film is being shown in the belief that humanizing those who have been made into straw figures is one of the urgent tasks of our day, and in the belief that the gospel is at work in the lives and calling of these young adults and the church delights and grows in hearing such movement of the Spirit among us.  Poster
