Scozzie Squash - learn, improve, win - the answer since 2011!
Hi, Everyone.

Best.  Halloween.  Ever.

One of the great aspects of being a part of Scozzie is the team spirit and fun... and Tuesday embodied all of those characteristics.  Thanks to all the coaches and players who made the day special... congratulations to the prize winners and shoutout to Tecnifibre, who provided the rackets and bags!  What awesome day - and you can check out some of the pictures here on our FACEBOOK page!

On court it's a been a volley drop week!  We're really enjoying working with our new tech displays and the use of immediate replays on the court work has added a new dimension to the sessions.  I'm always happy to talk it through with parents, so if you're techie minded I'm happy to give you the two minute tour when you're next in watching your kids train.

The big news is our new phase calendar!  Look on the website here and get your paper copy from John or the front desk.  Squash is a winter sport and now's the time to ramp it up!

Below you'll find links to a new blog post - "Middle School to College" in addition to our weekly report if you haven't caught it already and reminders about the upcoming events.

As always, email me with any questions and I'll see everyone at training.

Scozzies weekly Reportage from Coach Sam!
"The Scozzie tribe hauled down to Baltimore this past weekend for the Meadow Mill Athletic Club Gold. Scozzies were in their element playing high tempo squash on the fast courts of the "Charm City". All the pattern and routine work during the Scozzie squads paid dividends in these speedy conditions, resulting in four semi final spots and some very competitive finishes in the consolation draws...."

Scozzies Silver coming up - should you play?
"The US Squash certified 'Scozzie Silver 2017' will be hosted at FAC on the first weekend of December!
800 points are on offer for the winner and the tournament should attract all Scozzie's currently ranked outside the top 70.
Furthermore, because the event falls on the first weekend of Phase 2, Scozzie will be specifically targeting preparations for first time participants in a US Squash ranking event. Everyone remembers their first tournament and we want to make sure it's as enjoyable and memorable as possible, whilst preventing any potentially intimidating factors..."  Read the rest of the blog here!
