AGC Staff attended Wentworth's 2017 Family & Alumni Weekend on Friday, October 13, for the dedication of the Myles and Eugenia Sweeney Department of Construction Management and the unveiling of the BOND Virtual Design and Construction Lab.
 
Edward Bond, Jr., chairman and CEO of BOND and Wentworth trustee emeritus, Wentworth President Zorica Panti, Wentworth Trustee and BOND President Robert Murray, Board of Trustees Chair Mike Masterson, Christopher Fogg, BCMT '03, and Andrea Fredericks, BSCM '19, all spoke and cut the ribbon for the opening of the BOND lab, which will be used by students and faculty from majors including civil engineering and architecture.

Delphi Construction Purchases New Waltham HQ's and Expands Cape Cod Offices
   
 
Multi Market Construction Management and General Contracting firm, Delphi Construction announced their purchase of a 26,000 square foot facility on Bear Hill Road that will serve as the company's new Waltham headquarters. The facility will house Delphi's area operations along with those of Delphi's sister company, Properties, Inc. a building services company.
 
Delphi is also increasing its Cape Cod footprint with an expansion of the Mashpee office. Construction at that location has already begun. Delphi is reviewing final architectural plans for the Waltham location and expects those renovations to begin within the next two months.
 

On October 11, 2017  Delphi announced their hire of Melissa Cheslock as Project Manager and Olivia Henry, Marketing and Communications Coordinator, working out of the company's Cape Cod Office.
 
Cheslock, a Falmouth resident, brings 10 years of construction industry experience in both commercial and residential markets. A graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology, she holds a Bachelor of Science in construction management.

 
Henry will report to Delphi's Director of Marketing and Communications and assist with all aspects of Delphi's marketing and business development activities across all channels including print, digital, social media and events.
