Join us for a special preview evening of the upcoming AFC Festival. Keynote speaker, Dr. Rob Butler - ornithologist/ artist/author - will share exciting joint AFC plans with the 2018 International Ornithological Congress . Enjoy a preview of AFC's 2017 exhibit, music by Thomas Beckman and AVIA Trio, meet Cleo the Barn Owl, and peek at AFC's 'Silent Skies' mural - a 100-ft mural of the world's 678 endangered bird species. Artists for Conservation Festival 2017

VanDusen Botanical Garden, Vancouver, BC
The 7th Annual Artists for Conservation Festival presented by RE/MAX open with free admission to the public on November 10, and features a world-class art exhibit, live music, films, guest lectures, live birds of prey, art workshops, live painting demos, music and cultural performances. Public activities run from Nov 10-13 (10am-4pm). Free admission for most activities.

Art Workshops at the AFC Festival

Artist for Conservation is presenting two art workshops (age 16+) by international master wildlife artists: Australian silk artist, Kim Toft, and Canadian painter Terry Isaac. All skill levels welcome.
