It's not unusual for us to receive phone calls from MA gun owners who are looking for guidance and are not members of GOAL.
Often times they ask
"why should I join GOAL?"
The answer is simple: "our answering of your phone call and question is made possible by GOAL members".
We are more than just a resource though, we continually work to protect & restore Second Amendment freedom, we support many education efforts including our full training schedule and we proudly represent the interests of all law abiding gun owners.

The Lucky 20 Raffle Is Back!
|
Information:
Cost: $10 per ticket, 3 for $20, 10 for $50, 25 for $100. There is no limit to the amount of tickets you may purchase. Drawing will be held at noon on December 29, 2017. Winning tickets will be put back in the barrel for a chance to be drawn again.
Odds of winning are based on the number of entries. You need not be present to win. All federal and state gun laws apply. All guns are to be claimed within 60 days in Northboro, MA. Firearms may be shipped to another FFL at winner's expense. Please note that we can not mail ticket stubs via USPS, as it is a violation of postal regulations.

Statement On MA State Senate Bump Stock Vote
GOAL thanks Massachusetts Senators Tarr, Moore, Rodrigues, and other members of the senate for taking on “runaway train” house amendment in senate budget bill.

The amendment, passed by the House nearly unanimously the day before, would have made drastic change to MA gun laws, in that it would have banned trigger cranks, bump stocks, and any other modification of a firearm, including installation of match-grade triggers, or even a simple modification like smoothing out the action of a pump-action shotgun. It would have also granted unbridled regulatory authority to the Commonwealth over all firearms maintenance, enhancements, and modifications.

Please Support Granby Bow & Gun Club At October 23, 2017 Public Hearing
The Granby Bow & Gun Club needs support at an upcoming public hearing.
They, like many clubs in MA, have come under attack from neighbors who seek to close them down for good.
The appeal hearing with the town has been scheduled for October 23rd at 6:30 pm. The club is inviting anyone who could possibly show up in support. The club would like to overflow the place with people that are pro range!

October 19, 2017 Art Of Concealed Carry - Seats Open!
The Art of Concealed Carry* Is a 4-hour concealed handgun seminar designed for individuals who are currently carrying a concealed firearm or those who are considering firearms for self-defense.
All classes require GOAL membership - we will not hold a seat for non-members. If you are not a member you can select a membership option below along with your class.

- Maspenock Rod & Gun Club - Comedy Night! November 4th 21 and over only - Tickets are available at the club on meetings nights and Tuesday / Friday nights when the Junior Rifle Team Practices. $20 a ticket. - Franklin County Sportsmen Club Robert Vogel, IDPA US and World champion will be hosting a two day IDPA pistol skills course on April 30, March 1, 2018. - The Fitchburg Sportsmen's Club, located at 289 Rindge State Road, Ashburnham will hold the first Annual Turkey Shoot on Sunday, 5 November 2017 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Winner of each LUCKY TARGET match will win choice of Turkey or Ham. Match will involve 15 shots/3 per stand, shooter with the most LUCKY TARGET hits wins that match. Costs $5.00 per match. - Petersham gun club sporting clays course is open EVERY WEDNESDAY all year at 12 noon, and EVERY SUNDAY starting at 10am. we also have Trap open every friday at 6:30 PM.

- Lowell Sportsmen's Club - Ruger 10/22 Fun Shoot - Oct. 22 (10/22, get it?) 1-4pm and bring your 10/22!; Steel Sundays (rimfire challenge practice) every 3rd Sunday 1-3pm; Ongoing Events open to the public: Trap and Skeet every Sunday at 1pm and Wednesday at 10am; all-ages Archery every Thursday night at 6:30pm; Indoor Range Fun Shoot every Friday at 7pm. - High Power Rifle Shooting, at Reading Rifle and Revolver - the ONLY 600 yard range in Massachusetts has a full schedule for both "Across the Course" NRA and CMP matches as well as NRA "Mid-Range Prone" matches, for the 2017 season.
