A Message from Pastor Grant Applehans
Greetings gentle reader!
It's been a beautiful week in the neighborhood, as the last gasps of summer have blown their sweet breath across multi-colored leaves. Things have been pretty beautiful at church too, with many members feeding the hungry through Feed My Starving Children, Tanzania Sunday bringing us closer to our brothers and sisters around the world, and plans being laid for this week's food truck, turkey bingo, Advent Joy, next year's 150th celebration, and so many other chances to share Christ's love with joy!
This Sunday our Reformation 500 series continues, with a long look in the mirror as we take honest stock of our reality and encounter a God who sees more. You'll never see yourself the same again.

The church office has been asked to do a thorough inventory of name tags for ALL MEMBER FAMILIES (pre-K through adult).
If you do not have a name tag, please email Wendy next week with all the names you need printed for your family.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
We are now looking for Donations to our SHIPPING FUND.
The estimated cost to get a box from US into the HANDS OF CHILDREN is $9. This includes a bible and bible lessons. We appreciate your cooperation!

ANNUAL TRAINING
This training is for ALL parents and ALL staff and volunteers that work with children at St. Paul Lutheran.
Please see the signup sheets in the Narthex. Dates available go from Nov. 5 - Nov. 12th. Evenings, weekends, and day hours available. Depending on which year you are in, training will be half an hour, one hour, or an hour and a half.
