Register by October 19 for "The Miracles of Jesus"

Come to this six-session class that takes an in-depth look at the miracles of Jesus. It will open your eyes to their impact and what they reveal about God today. Marty Torrance and Sandy Bowling will facilitate. The class will be held on Thursday evenings at 6:30 beginning on October 26. Registration will close on October 19.
Choral Evensong, October 22, 4:00 p.m.

St. Christopher's Choir and friends sing Choral Evensong featuring music by Ralph Vaughn Williams, Austin C. Lovelace, and Simon Lole. Evensong is one of the great treasures of the Anglican liturgical tradition and is a wonderful way to end your day prayerfully. The service will last about 40 minutes. A reception will follow in the Andres Library. Please join us.
Fall Break Change for Youth Formation

Youth Formation will not meet on Sunday, October 22, due to fall break.
Hazardous Saints!

Starting on All Saints' Day (November 5), come get to know Barnabas, Francis of Assisi, Thomas Cranmer, Sojourner Truth, Dorothy Day, and Oscar Romero. This six-week study uses text and video to help us consider how we, too, can project the love of Christ in creative and intentional ways. Classes will be held at a time when everyone in the group is available (TBD by everyone who registers) and will run between the weeks of November 5 and December 10. The cost is $6. Registration will close on October 29. Register using the link below or by emailing Mother Jenny at motherjenny@stchriscarmel.com. Come join in!
The Great Cloud of Witnesses

Photographs
On Sunday, November 5, we will once again celebrate All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day here at St. Christopher’s. Please bring a photograph of those you are remembering. These will be displayed along the sides of the sanctuary during our services. Tags will be available so you can tell us who they are and how they have been part of your life.

Names for All Saints’/All Souls’ Day
Also on November 5, as part of the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, we will read the names of those who have died since last All Saints’ Day. A list will be on the round table on Sundays October 22 and 29. Please add the names of those who have died since last November whom you wish to include.
Stewardship Campaign to kick off on November 5

Join us for Coffee Hour after the 10:00 a.m. service on Sunday November 5. We'll spend about 15 to 20 minutes of the hour talking about what we value about St. Christopher's and where we would like to go over the next two-three years. And, yes, naturally we'll discuss the budget that we need to support our ministries and our goals.

CROP Walk

We will continue to collect change and accept donations for CROP Hunger Walk during the month of October. Sock-it-to-Hunger socks are located in the Narthex or you can donate online to the St. Christopher’s team using the link below. The first $1000 raised will be matched dollar for dollar in support of our $4000 goal. CROP Walk donations help serve the needs for food and fresh water around the world and also for those experiencing food insecurity right here in Hamilton County.

We'd like everyone to wear a name tag to make getting to know each other a bit easier. Are you new to St. Christopher's and do not have a name tag? Have you lost your name tag? Please request one from Anita Walker, our Parish Administrator, by using the link below.
