2016 Shelter Award Winners Announced |
It is exciting to see that SO MANY shelters,
most of which are open admission and animal control
, saving more than 90% of the animals coming through their doors. The 206 number of cats and dogs killed in shleters is just over 20,000
Congratulations to the following award winners on their 2016 performance:
- Large Shelter with the Greatest Lifesaving Improvement
- Medium Shelter with the Greatest Lifesaving Improvement
- Small Shelter with the Greatest Lifesaving Improvement
- Micro Shelter with the Greatest Lifesaving Improvement
- Limited Admission Shelter with the Most Adoptions and 90% Save Rate or Greater
