This year's Investiture of Lifesaving Honours will take place on Wednesday November 8, 2017 at Government House at the invitation of our Patron, the Honourable Lois E. Mitchell, CM, AOE, LLD, Lieutenant Governor of Alberta.

At the Investiture we recognize rescue heroes for their courage, resourcefulness and ability to make the right decision during an aquatic emergency and Society members for their dedication and long standing service in providing education and training within their community.

Rescue Award Citations and Service Award recipients are posted on www.lifesaving.org under Member Services/Recognition Awards.

International Life Saving Federation Competition Rulebook - Lifesaving World Championships Adelaide 2018
The ILS Sport Commission is pleased to confirm that the ILS Competition Rulebook is now published in preparation for the Lifesaving World Championships Adelaide 2018. To accompany the Competition Rulebook, the Lifesaving World Championships Adelaide 2018 Championships Handbook, which sets out the entry criteria and event programmes, is also published.
