A note from the Headmaster:

The spirit about our school on both campuses has been incredible, given the now common knowledge of our excellent academics and extracurriculars.  During assembly last week I asked all students who participated in athletics in any way, shape, or form to please stand. Not surprisingly, approximately 90% of the auditorium were on their feet.  Part of my rationale was to show the students, and particularly the faculty, the importance that this majority should garner.  It is also important to understand and realize the impact successful athletic programs have on our school and the community.  We truly believe that academics, without question, is our number one priority. However n o school will survive only on its academic prowess or its athletic status, but  the impact that our current team's' successes have had in our school and community are immeasurable. I am very confident we have achieved the proper balance with academics and athletics, a difficult formula to obtain and sustain by any independent school, but we are there. Recently, I was asked how we could capitalize on this great momentum, the answer is through you ! More and more people are recognizing St. Luke's throughout our community. We are blessed by our outstanding leadership, dedicated student athletes, the faculty, parents, fans, and enthusiastic students.  Thank you for your support, belief, and for sharing about our great school. Let's keep up the good work. Go Wildcats!

-Mike

Dear Middle School Parents:

This has been an incredible first quarter for the Middle School. Immediately classes were up and running with students accepting responsibility and working diligently.  Our students involvement in activities (cross country, football, robotics, student government, volleyball, etc) exceeds the national average of participation.  All of this makes for exceptional students and school!

The Middle School has begun our Positive Parent Support Team (PPST) who has already met once and planning their second meeting for Thursday.  This group meets with directors and others to discuss achievements and parent concerns and/or ways to improve our school. Please feel free to contact someone in this group if you have questions.
They will be happy to help you.

6th grade: Rebecca Downing, Ginger Grafton,
