Vote by Mail Applications
All voters in Los Angeles County have the option to vote by mail. A Vote by Mail (VBM) Ballot is mailed to voters, who can mail back the ballot or to drop off the ballot at a polling place on Election Day.
A Vote by Mail application for the November 7, 2017 election is currently available on the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder’s website.
Voters can also submit a Permanent Vote by Mail application. Applying to become a permanent Vote by Mail voter means that the voter will automatically receive a Vote by Mail Ballot for every election eligible to vote in. Applications are not necessary for future elections.
