THE METRIC OF URGENCY: THE BEST METRIC TO PRIORITIZE YOUR WORK

Presented by Southeast Service Cooperative, Rochester, MN., and the Rendement Group

The objective of this pre-conference is to prioritize your ESA's work by aligning business strategy with the vital few projects, using key metrics. Explore problem statements, leading and lagging metrics, and how your ESA can stay focused on the vital few projects. This training will use simulation and facilitated exercises to allow participants to apply the tools taught as part of the day. This is a highly interactive pre-conference to help you get the most of your experience.

POVERTY IN THE CLASSROOM: A POWERFUL FACTOR IN THE LEARNING CULTURE

Presented by  Presented by Southwest Plains Regional Service Center, Sublette, KS.

Poverty is a powerful factor in the learning culture. The time is now to consider intentional leadership to change the learning culture surrounding poverty from ignorance to empathy. In this pre-conference, experience an interactive, collaborative morning to deepen your understanding of culturally diverse learning environments, emphasizing the effects of poverty on student learning. During the afternoon participate in a hands-on poverty simulation to experience the daily effects of poverty. The simulation includes role-play, decision-making, and real-life problem solving.

Register for the conference, where you can also select to participate in pre-conferences!
