Hello fellow Melville Chamber of Commerce members!
It is truly a privilege to have been selected as the newest Board Member for the Melville Chamber of Commerce.
The Melville Chamber of Commerce distinguishes itself from other chambers through its diversity. The Chamber literally provides something for everyone, and the opportunity for different professionals and business people, who might otherwise never meet, to come together. This is part of what makes the Melville Chamber of Commerce an ideal avenue for networking on a variety of different levels.
From the Women Of Melville Empowerment Network (W.O.M.E.N.) to the Young Professionals Group (YPG), and the Business Breakfast Series in the morning to the Business After Hours events in the evening, the Melville Chamber has something to fit every interest and schedule. Networking at member restaurants and giving them the chance to showcase their cuisine, decor, and service is always a delight. Even if you cannot attend an event, you can listen to the "110 & Rising" podcast available on our website during your commute to or from your office, place of business or appointments, to keep up and stay current with the latest local business news.
As we move into Fall, we start off this month with our Business After Hours meeting on October 12, 2017 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.. Please join us at Bridgehampton National Bank in Melville with Theresa Going, Branch Manager of Melville North, and Bridgehampton National Bank's Executive Team.
Later this month, we look forward to our Business Expo 2017 at the Hilton Long Island in Huntington on October 25, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.. The Expo is an exciting and effective way to network and market your business to a multitude of other Long Island professionals while they are all under the same roof. This annual event features live music, raffles, food tasting at Restaurant Row and much, much more. Whether you attend as an exhibitor or just to network and have fun, it is sure to be a valuable experience, and one not to be missed. Please see the event calendar for full details.
I look forward to seeing you all at some of our many upcoming events. Remember to take advantage of your local resources to help the Melville business community continue to flourish.
Please join me in giving special thanks to my fellow Board Members for all of their continued dedication and hard work, which makes the Melville Chamber of Commerce the wonderful organization it is.
Happy holidays and best regards,
