NRMS Fall Tailgate
The NRMS tailgate event is a great way for all students to get involved at NRMS. Students can purchase tickets for $4.00 in the cafeteria during lunch.  The ticket provides students with pizza, water, and chips during the tailgate along with entrance into the 8th grade football game at the stadium.  Please know that all students who attend the tailgate will be escorted to the stadium for the start of the game at 4:30 PM.  Once the game starts, students can be picked-up at any time from the North Gate near the BOE.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher, counselor, grade level principal, or me with any questions throughout the year.
Important Notes:

CogAT Testing
Students in 6th grade will be taking the Cognitive Abilities Test on Wednesday, October 11th.  Parents/guardians of students in grade 6 should have received a letter with all necessary information regarding this assessment.

Ethan Strong
Please consider supporting Ethan, a NRMS student on the Millennium Team as he battles cancer.  You can purchase a t-shirt to support him using the link listed below.  Please note, a new window for purchases will be opened by BULLSEYE within the next few days.  http://www.bullseyestore.com/category-s/100.htm.

B.E.A.R.S. Family Support Group
The B.E.A.R.S. Family Support Group would like to invite families who have a student with special needs to the first event of the 2017-18 school year.  Please join us for a tailgate and football game on  Friday, October 20th.  The tailgate will begin at  6:00 PM in the Board Office parking lot, with the game beginning at  7:00 PM.   You are welcome to join both events or either one, depending on your family's schedule.  There will be reserved seating for the event, HS buddies for the students and a bit of spirit "gear" provided.

Look for an RSVP form to be coming home soon.  Tickets will be set aside at the North Gate of the stadium.  Please include the total number of tickets you need for the event. There will be no cost for entry to the game if attending as part of the B.E.A.R.S. Family Group.  We look forward to seeing you on  October 20th. Please friend us on Facebook: B.E.A.R.S. Family Support Group.

Chicago Extended Field Trip
Please note that the students returning from the Chicago extended field trip this fall will be returning to St. Albert the Great instead of NRMS due to a home football game.
