In the near future we will have some great new toys in the Meow Mart-Catnip Butterflies.
They have been tested by our cats and declared a success!   Stop by the Meow Mart soon and treat your cats to a fun new toy.

As of September, 2017 we have raised $46,356.57 of revenue from the King Soopers gift card program to support our cats and mission. This averages out to about $760 of income each month.  This program is an important source of revenue for us. If you do not have a card, please consider getting one!

King Soopers cards are available for sale at the front desk of the shelter. All cards are pre-loaded with $25.

Opt to Adopt Lindy
Lindy is ready for his forever home!  Lindy is a lovable senior who just wants to cuddle up with someone.  He's just over 14 years old, and spent much of his life as a successful show cat.  Due to his upbringing Lindy is very comfortable with lots of handling and grooming, and he thrives on hands on attention.  Despite his age he loves to play with toys!  When Lindy was first introduced to the shelter the first thing he did was start playing with the turbo scratchers and the various toys on the floor.  And he absolutely loves catnip.  Like many senior cats, Lindy has some kidney issues, as well as high blood pressure.  He loves his prescription diet, and doesn't mind taking his once daily pill at all... especially if a treat follows it!  If you're looking for an amazing furball of personality to bring home, Lindy might be the one for you!

Lindy is part of our Perpet-U-Care program.  Please click the link to find out more:  http://www.catcaresociety.org/adoptions/perpet-u-care

              FOSTER CARE
Foster care is vital to our success and mission.  We are always looking for good foster parents to help with not only kittens, but older cats who need some extra care and attention.

Foster homes provide such care and a loving temporary home to animals in need, until they can be adopted.  In some cases, foster care becomes hospice care as well.

Volunteering to foster is a very rewarding experience besides being so valuable to our shelter.  If you are interested in learning more about our foster program, please click here.
