The Chamber has experienced a lot of change this year. Particularly, we have seen a lot of turnover in the Young Professionals Council - I am a testament to that. I joined the Chamber earlier this year after leaving a CPA firm in Indianapolis and moving to St Charles, where I joined the OnPath team-and I quickly became involved in the YPC gro
up. Many YPC members from when I joined months ago are no longer here. With that being said, there is a new energy in the YPC, as 95% of us are brand new as of this year! Our Lazarus House service event was a wonderful experience and I greatly enjoyed getting to know other YPC members more as well as other Chamber members that came out to serve. We spent time scrubbing toilets and mopping floors. However, the true joy was seeing how much of an impact our efforts had on the Lazarus House staff. Thank you to Anne for teaching us so much about the Lazarus House and allowing us to serve! As a YPC, we a ramping up for the annual Foxtoberfest and are very excited to have a great night of fellowship with 60+ other chamber members, and of course, craft beer. Lastly, I am beginning the hunt for an ugly Christmas Sweater (It is truly shocking that I still don't have one) for the Ugly Holiday Sweater Party coming up in just a couple short months; 2017 has truly flown by!
