Wild Mushroom and Sage Risotto
Ingredients:

cup
Onions
diced
1/4
cup
Wild Mushroom & Sage Olive Oil
1 1/2
cups
Mushrooms
diced
5
cups
Chicken Broth
1
cup
Dry White Wine
1/4
cup
Parmesan Cheese
1 1/2
cups
Arborio Rice
Truffle Oil
(if desired)
Truffle Salt
(if desired)
Preparation:
Place 1/4 cup ( minus 3 Tablespoons) Wild Mushroom and Sage olive oil in a saute pan and heat.
Add mushrooms and saute until liquid released from mushrooms. Set aside.
Heat 1 Tablespoon Wild Mushroom and Sage olive oil in a high sided pan and add onions. Cook onions until translucent and golden.
Add rice and stir rice until coated in olive oil, cook 1 minute in oil.
Add chicken broth 1 cup at a time, stirring constantly over medium heat until liquid almost absorbed, then add another cup of chicken broth. Continue doing this until all chicken broth has been absorbed then add white wine and stir until absorbed. This process should take 20-30 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add sauteed mushrooms, Parmesan cheese and 2 Tablespoons of Wild Mushroom and Sage olive oil and stir.
Finish with a drizzle of White Truffle oil or Truffle salt and Pepper. Enjoy!

We have invited our internationally recognized carvers back to create pumpkin masterpieces boasting the BEST fall art in Dayton!! Monday, October 23rd from 3-7 pm, we will be celebrating all things fall including GIANT 500-pound pumpkins that will be carved LIVE in the park by our internationally known artists!
We will also have over 50 individually carved pumpkins and a pumpkin carving station! Free face painting, glitter tattoos, photo booth and bounce houses will be available in the park, and don't forget to grab your own pumpkin on the way home!

We are pleased to announce the installation of additional wayfinding signs throughout the Austin Landing Development. Our marketing department has developed and implemented a strategic wayfinding plan to better direct drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians within the development. Our primary goal is to improve your experience at Austin Landing by creating enhanced visual communication.

Kayla Long
|
 Kayla Long is the Marketing Manager for Austin Landing and has worked in the marketing department since 2014. From social media posts, radio and tv interviews, to coordinating record breaking parties in the park, you have probably seen Kayla running around the development with an Aframe in one hand, and the latest event flyer in the other. When asked what is her favorite part of the job, she responded with this, "Having the opportunity to serve others, raise money for local charities, and build amazing relationships with our community partners has been the honor of a lifetime."
Kayla has recently climbed the Grand Teton in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with her mentoring leadership group Ulitmate Powerplay. A team of five young female leaders climbing a mountain in honor of Breast Cancer Survivors and to raise money and awareness for The Pink Ribbon Girls. - No one climbs this mountain alone...
