LBRE will send Building Managers the fourth annual KPI Survey this month. In his article, Executive Director of Zones, George Sandoval, lists some initiatives that LBRE developed based on survey results. There are 'work in progress' initiatives that we will give you more information about, as they are fully flushed out. An
article in this issue discusses changes at the LBRE Operations Center. November and December editions will feature articles about other initiatives, including-
Building electrical management program
Predictive maintenance
New key distribution
Maintenance inspections and quality control program
Zone Management will be holding a department clean up in October. We plan to practice what we preach by piloting the department managed and funded
New Vision for Campus Clean Up
described in last month's newsletter.
We plan to have Zone staff participate in cleaning out file cabinets, offices and storage spaces. We will utilize PSSI and Surplus Property (using reuse website and SPARC requests) to help with this effort. Confidential documents and plans will be shredded through PSSI. This trial will determine how successful we can be in a department generated Clean Up. We hope to use our local Clean Up to encourage you to do the same. The most important part of any big effort is to get people involved and motivated to participate . . . we even plan to have lunch delivered on the kick off day for more of a collegial atmosphere. Now we just have to get our music mix down to give us some energy!
