President,
Hebrew SeniorLife Health Care Services and Hebrew Rehabilitation Center

Dear Colleagues,

On September 1, we officially welcomed Geriatric Psychiatrist Dr. Gary Epstein-Lubow to serve as Medical Director for the Center of Excellence for Alzheimer's Disease and Memory Care at Hebrew SeniorLife. Dr. Lubow is joined by Ellen Leiter, B.S.N., M.B.A., as Administrative Director for the program—a seasoned nurse executive with an extensive background in program development. The aim of this initiative is to improve care for adults living with Alzheimer's disease or related dementias. To learn more, see below for a Q&A with Dr. Epstein-Lubow included in this issue.

Our commitment to Alzheimer's disease research and education extends beyond the walls of Hebrew SeniorLife. 139 Hebrew SeniorLife staff members, families, and friends participated in the 2017 Walk to End Alzheimer's – Greater Boston on September 24. Each year we look forward to the walk as an opportunity to meet others in the Boston-area who have been affected by the rising toll of this disease and reaffirm our dedication to "#EndAlz" through participation and education with our friends at the Alzheimer's Association NH/MA chapter.
