Are you registered to vote?
General election is Tuesday, November 7th!

Tuesday, October 10th is the last day to register to vote this November!  If you need to register contact Kat Lyons, Advocacy Coordinator by email or by calling 513.241.2600 Ext. 113.

Have questions about your voting rights?  Join Hamilton County Developmental Disabilities Services on Tuesday, October 3 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Growler House at 1526 Madison Road with Sherry Poland from Hamilton County Board of Elections along with a representative from the League of Women Voters.
Personal Care Assistance
Have you been wrestling with issues of Pers onal Care Assistance and decided that it is finally time to get some help?   Consider joining a network of peers with disabilities who also use the services of Personal Care Assistants (PCA). CILO's PCA Networking Group can share tips and ideas for maintaining freedom, flexibility and control in how to find, hire and keep personal care assistants. This group provides an opportunity to discuss ideas and ways to overcome the acute shortage of PCAs, triggering a crisis and silent epidemic for people with disabilities across the nation. If interested in being part of this discussion, please call Suzanne Hopkins, Director of Programs, at (513) 241-2600, ext. 122 or email
