A Message from Religious School Principal, Lois Tompkins

This week is the end of our High Holiday programming!  Time to get settled back into school...but we'll continue to have fun in our classrooms as we learn!  PTA also has several events coming up soon; check out the flyers in the areas below.

A few random reminders:  :)
If you need to call me during school hours, please call  extension 145 (Jennifer's phone) - I'm not often in my office to pick up messages!

Any student who has attended services at another synagogue (family or friend's Bar Mitzvah, etc) can get credit by sending me an email and letting me know!  Remember, we expect students in grades 3-7 to attend at least 15 services throughout the year.

...and speaking of services:   I hope that everyone will get to come to the Center's Simchat Torah celebration on Thursday evening or Friday morning.  It is always full of dancing, laughter and surprises!  Also, check out the Family service and dinner for next weekend in the PTA box below. Rabbi Rosenblum and I will be leading a very special game and service for elementary-age kids!

B'Shalom,
Lois

Thank you to Amy and Don Levinson for coordinating our Shabbat Box program again this year!  The kids LOVE to get this treat.  After you use your box, please don't forget to return it on Sundays so that we can pass it on to the next family.  Any tzedakah received will be added to the Religious School collection for good causes throughout the year.
