Build the Kingdom!
St. Louis Catholic School was blessed with a very successful 2016-2017 annual fund campaign! Through the generous donations of current parents, alumni, parishioners and corporate matching funds, we matched our total efforts from the previous year, while also raising our highest total ever in monetary gifts. A study of the virtues from the Dominican Sisters' Year of Hope were ongoing throughout the school year, as we focused on our spiritual theme "Mercy Works: Build the Kingdom".
Our family participation numbers continued to grow, although the increase was minimal. Thus, we plan to increase efforts to bring about an awareness of both the campaign effort and the importance of full family and community involvement in the campaign. While the annual fund continues to assist the financial needs of students and families through tuition assistance, the fund also provides St. Louis Catholic School with important capital improvements as we grow in technology and educational advancements. Mother Teresa wrote, "Good works are links that form a chain of love." Each person that has participated in our annual fund is a link in the chain of love and goodness that we continue to build right here at St. Louis School. We are so grateful to the generous families and friends who have shared themselves this past year through financial donation, service and prayer. These efforts help our school continue to grow in its mission to be rooted in faith, growing in Christ, and providing outstanding instruction for academic excellence.
I will continue to keep all of our donors and student recipients in my prayers as we work together to build His kingdom.
God bless,
Kathleen McNutt
