Design Slam 2017!!
 
Congratulations to the UK AIAS team for earning the most votes at the Design Slam!

Thank you to all the sponsors for this event, to all the teams that helped make the event possible, and for all the people that came out for the event! With sponsorship, ticket sales, and day-of donations we were able to raise over $5,000 for Lexington Habitat and AIA EKC!

UK College of Design

UK CoD Lecture Series - 
This year's lecture series has several interesting presentations planned. The following is a list  of upcoming lecture dates and presenters:

UK AIAS - AIA East Kentucky Chapter is providing sponsorship for this year's Mentorship by Design program. More mentors are needed for the number of students that are interested! If you are interested in being a mentor, go to this website for more information and to sign up. The kickoff meeting will be on 11/14  at 12:30pm.

Habitat for Humanity
 
A build date on 10/21 is available for our members. 20 people are needed to make repairs on existing homes. If you'd like more info on this build date, please contact Jordan Goff.

Lexington Emerging Professionals Network

The Lexington Emerging Professionals Network (LEPN) was started in October of 2016, to provide architectural emerging professionals in the Lexington area an opportunity to network and participate in fellowship with their peers. The LEPN will hold monthly meet-ups at local restaurants, where all area emerging professionals will be welcomed regardless of AIA membership. The goal of the LEPN is to engage all emerging professionals in the larger Lexington architectural community.
