OCWA and LAWSS Mark Anniversary

OCWA

Lambton Area Water Supply System (LAWSS)
recently celebrated the completion of the first five years of a 20-year operations contract, in which OCWA maintains and operates the LAWSS water treatment plant and water distribution system. I Don't Flush Clears the FOG
OCWA and
the Clean Water Foundation have launched the third phase of our
I Don't Flush
public education campaign. Following successful campaigns on proper disposal of pharmaceuticals and personal hygiene products, the new campaign targets fats, oils and grease aka FOG!

OCWA Jets Win Big at WEFTEC
Congratulations to the OCWA Jets, who placed third overall in Division 1 at the
WEFTEC 2017 Operations Challenge in Chicago!
WEFTEC is the Water Environment Federation's Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference. Every year, the best wastewater operators in the world display their skills at the Operations Challenge.
The OCWA Jets placed 1st in Safety, 1st in Maintenance and 2nd in Collection. We are proud of this hard-working team on their impressive results!
