Congratulations Principal Phyllis Cavallone!
Named a
2017 National Distinguished Principal!
Please join us in congratulating Principal Cavallone on being named a 2017
National Distinguished Principal. This is a tremendous honor for Ms. Cavallone and St. Therese - the National Association of Elementary School Principals (
NAESP) recognizes
only five private school principals nationally as a National Distinguished Principal. We are so proud of Principal Cavallone and her dedication to the St. Therese community that helped her earn this much-deserved award.

Ms. Cavallone travelled to Washington DC on October 12-13 to receive her award, meet other National Distinguished Principals, and gain insights and ideas to bring back with her to St. Therese.
The NAESP established its Distinguished Principal award program in 1984 to recognize and celebrate elementary and middle-level principals who set high standards for instruction, student achievement, character, and climate for the students, families, and staff in their learning communities. NAESP's criteria for award selection require honorees to be active principals of schools where programs are designed to meet the academic and social needs of all students and where there are firmly established community ties with parents and local business organizations.
