UMW Bazaar
The Annual Bazaar will be held on November 4, from 8 am-2 pm. Breakfast will be served from 8-10 am and lunch will be served from 11 am-1 pm. We need the help of the ladies of the church. Please keep in mind that all proceeds go to Missions both local and worldwide. Baked goods will be needed for the "Country Kitchen Bake Shop". These can be delivered to the church on November 3. We need cookies, muffins, brownies, snack mix, cakes, fruit and pecan pies, and breads. We are also collecting JEWELRY. This is very popular. It needs to be sorted and categorized ahead of time so please bring it to the church with that in mind. We have no limit on the amount of jewelry that can be donated by one lady. We are also accepting purses and scarves. LIMIT 2 PER PERSON.
Please support us the day of the Bazaar by coming for lunch and shopping for great homemade products!!

Would you like to be on a church committee next year?
The nominating committee will start work this week selecting people to serve on the various church committees for 2018. Pastor Mike is chair of the committee and if you have a preference of where to serve...please contact him within the next few days. The committee will try to accommodate everyone's requests, although it may be necessary (depending on the needs of the church) to make other decisions.
You can see a listing of all the committees and boards if you click here.
You can also fill out a survey form by clicking here and emailing or handing that form back to Pastor Mike as soon as possible.
The survey forms have been distributed the past couple of weeks in the bulletins. You may also find the forms on the board near the information desk or request one from the church office.

Keeping Up With Jordan and Mike
Pastor Mike and Jie were in New England this week on a few vacation days. They will be back on Friday.
Jordan has been preparing for Bingo Night this evening. He has also been preparing for next week's Downtown Kids' potluck to end the first 7 weeks of the new modules. The families and church members are invited to join in as the children share what they have learned and choose what they will be doing during the next 7 weeks. The modules have been a big hit and Downtown Kids is continuing to grow!!
