What is Dueling Pianos?
Dueling Pianos is a high-energy, interactive party featuring two baby grands  
and two professional dueling pianists singing and playing.  
 
Where is it?
NY NY Dueling Pianos will be performing at Temple Sholom's Simcha Hall!
 
When is it?
Saturday night, November 4th, 8 - 11 pm.
 
How much does it cost?
It's $75 per person and that includes the professional show, amazing, decadent desserts
and international coffee bar catered by Exquisite Affairs Catering.
 
Are there sponsorship opportunities?
Of course! All sponsors will be recognized in the event program.
Player Piano Sponsorship: $250 (includes 2 event tickets)
Upright Piano Sponsorship: $500 
(includes 2 event tickets and two additional tickets for non-member guests)
Baby Grand Piano Sponsorship: $750
(includes 2 event tickets and four additional tickets for non-member guests)
Grand Piano Sponsorship: $1,000
(includes 2 event tickets and six additional tickets for non-member guests)
 
Why do you need sponsors?
We need sponsors to help defray the costs of the evening, to ensure that this is not 
only a fabulous night, but also a successful Temple fundraiser!
   
If you can give more than the $75 attendance fee, it will really help! 
 
What kind of desserts are we talking about?
Warm cookie dough and brownies with ice cream , chocolate fondue , Bananas Foster Flambé , warm apple crisp , mini martinis filled with cheesecake, chocolate mousse cake, & carrot cake , fried Oreos , cake pops , mini fancy cookies , international coffee station with Sambuca, Anisette, Irish Whiskey, Kahlua
 
Will there be alcohol?
Of course! There will be a bar where you can purchase beer, wine, 
or The Dueling Piano's Signature cocktail!
 
What kind of music is played?
The Dueling Pianists can play any song you can think of from Jimmy Buffet, 
Garth Brooks, Billy Joel,  Tom Petty, Jerry Lee Lewis, Disney, 
Lady Gaga, Elvis, Katy Perry, Metallica, and anything in between.
 
What are examples of songs they might play?
Sweet Caroline, We Will Rock You, Don't Stop Believin', Piano Man, Yellow Submarine, Louie Louie, Shout, Play That Funky Music White Boy, Celebration, Brick House, R.E.S.P.E.C.T, Shake Your Booty, Locked out of Heaven... 
Will I be embarrassed?
Absolutely no!
 
What if I want to be embarrassed?
Then, absolutely yes!
 
Do I need to spend more money once I am there?
Of course not. Come in, enjoy the music and the desserts 
and  have fun without spending another dime.
 
What if I want to spend more money once I get there?
Then of course you can! The musicians take requests and they are more likely 
to take your requests  if you tip them. You can also tip them to play a song, 
to not play a song, and you can get into a bidding war with others over a song. 
It's all in good fun - and the tips all go to the Temple!
 
Do I need to bring cash?
No. When you walk in, you'll buy "Temple Bucks" that you can use to purchase drinks and tip  the musicians. You can purchase "Temple Bucks" with a check or credit card.
 
Can I come alone?
This is a perfect event to come alone to because it is a group activity!
 
Can I bring guests?
This is open to the entire community so feel free to invite your  
neighbors, friends, and family.
 
Can I bring my kids?
Only if they are 21 or over.
