ASLA, LEED AP, GRP

Hello living architecture colleagues,

We're super excited at the response from our Call for Short Videos for Round #2 of our Virtual Summit 2017 ~ so much that we're Extending It to October 10! Starting on October 16 you can start watching these cool new under 10-minute videos along with the current 30+ videos already online on demand through December from fantastic keynotes and speakers from across 5 continents.

We'll have more live social media events kicking off in November, and hope you'll immerse yourself and join in! Learn More and Register.

CitiesAlive in Seattle last week was fantastic, especially the Tribute to Stephen Kellert! I attended the new Green Roofs for Healthy Cities Biophilia Workshop presented by Bill Browning (excellent), saw some wonderful presenters, Aramis and I went on the awesome new Amazon Campus tour, and we had a great time at all of the social events put on by GRHC and the Local Host Committee - kudos to all!

Did you know that National Hispanic Heritage Month began on September 15 and ends on October 15? I'm sad to say I didn't (shame on me, being half-Latin!). But the ASLA celebrates diversity during this time and throughout the year.

And, we sincerely hope all of you affected by the recent earthquakes in Mexico and convergence of hurricanes in the Caribbean and U.S. are recovering physically and emotionally, and hopefully rebuilding!
