DEG Estimating Tip:  AUDATEX- Updates to Database Repair Manual (DBRM)

Audatex has updated recently updated their Database Repair Manual (DBRM) with new updates.

All updated folders and topics in the Table of Contents display an asterisk and all updates in a topic are marked in bold and italicized lettering.

Some recent changes included in  Section 4-2, Labor Exclusions:
  • Adhesive curing times.
  • OEM aesthetic appearance matching of sealants, sound deadening or bonding materials.
  • Calibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) components. Excludes Tesla models through November 2017.
  • Pre and/or Post Repair Diagnostic Scans. Excludes Tesla models through November 2017.
  • Setup of welding equipment, welding materials and/or test welding.

The estimating databases are all intended to be used as a GUIDE ONLY - it is important to remember that the auto body professional performing the repair is in a position to thoroughly inspect, diagnose and identify the methodology and their unique cost of the vehicle damage repair.
