Athletes Selected to Attend EAP National Training Session

The United States Hunter Jumper Association congratulates the 24 athletes (16 riders and 8 stable managers) selected to attend the 2017 Emerging Athletes Program National Training Session with Olympian Peter Wylde and renowned stable management expert Anne Thornbury, November 9-12, at  Lake Erie College  in Painesville, Ohio.


The EAP National Training Session will be held concurrently with the 2017 Horsemanship Quiz Challenge Nationals, presented by The Plaid Horse. Stay tuned for the announcement of the 2017 HQC National Finalists!
Registration Now Open for 2017 USHJA Annual Meeting
This year's meeting will feature great keynote speakers, educational sessions,  and the opportunity for you to connect with your peers and meet with Association leadership on the topics most important to you. Also, don't miss out on all of the fun and celebration at THE awards banquet of the year!  The first 50 people to register online will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a Charles Owen helmet, so don't delay. USHJA Foundation Making Dreams Come True

Since 2011, the USHJA Foundation has been making dreams come true for riders at all levels by offering custom-designed opportunities in the hunter/jumper sport to USHJA members who face significant adversity, such as mental, physical, or emotional challenges; limited financial resources; or other hardships. 

This year, three young riders shared with us their struggles and their ideal equestrian experience through the Making a Dream grant application. With the generosity of our donors and support of our volunteers, the Foundation was able to make their dreams come true.

USHJA 3'3" Jumping Seat Medal Finals Debut 
The USHJA 3'3" Jumping Seat Medal Finals East and West made their inaugural debut this year at the Capital Challenge Horse Show and International Jumping Festival-Blenheim, respectively. Read more about each of the winners below!
