Design Mentors Needed - Mentorship by Design Program
UK AIAS is currently seeking Design Professionals from all aspects of the profession to participate in the Mentorship by Design program, a student led mentorship initiative for students in one of the three design programs offered by the UK College of Design.

Twenty-nine students need professionals to volunteer 1-2 hours per month to participate as mentors focused on helping them realize what it means to "work in the profession".  Not all students will follow the same path into the Design profession, and this means we need volunteers from all walks of life with all kinds of different experiences to share!

The time commitment is minimal requiring less than two hours per month, and can be completed in person at one of our large networking events held at 12:30 on pre-selected dates: (10/17, 11/14, 12/12) or at any number of outside community, university and firm sponsored design events posted on the mentorship website.

The program's goal is to better introduce the student to the profession and match them with a mentor that shares similar interest that is willing to help guide them toward the next step.

If you are interested in becoming a participate in the Mentorship by Design program please visit www.mentorship.design to learn more about the mentorship program and use the "become a mentor" button to signup or click here to visit the direct link  to signup now!

The first kickoff event is schedule for October 17th at 12:30, more details about the location and tour will be released soon.

Mentor applications are being accepted NOW through October 6th.

If you have any additional questions/concerns please reach out directly to the program coordinator Bradley Beatty at: bradley.beatty@uky.edu or (270) 256-3656
