In preparation for fully self-powered testing, HART engineers rolled one of the Rail Project's trains out onto the guideway recently. The roll-out was successful, clearing the way for trains to run autonomously during full testing in the near future!
We'll keep you posted as testing begins and Honolulu's Rail Project moves onward towards completion!

OUT & ABOUT WITH THE HART TEAM!
The event was hosted by the
Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement and is the
largest gathering of organizations, policy-makers, legislative representatives and federal agencies involved in Native Hawaiian community development.
The HART Team was on hand to answer questions and take in feed-back about the Honolulu Rail Project, as was the case at the recent Festa Italiana in Kaka'ako.
The "celebration of all things Italian" was hosted by the Friends of Italy Society of Hawaii. The inaugural event featured food booths, art & cultural exhibits, fashion shows, and an Italian car showcase. The
HART Team was there to share information on the Honolulu Rail Transit Project which will before long be an important transportation option for residents who live, work and play in & around Kaka'ako.

DRIVE WITH ALOHA AND ARRIVE ALIVE!
Construction on the Honolulu Rail Project is advancing along Kamehameha Highway beyond Aloha Stadium and towards the Pearl Harbor area. As it does, HART reminds you that crews will be active in that area, as well as other locations along the guideway.
Please be aware that in ANY CONSTRUCTION ZONE, not just along the guideway, speed limits are adjusted to ensure the safety of both drivers and crews. In the construction zones along Kamehameha Highway, the posted speed limit is 25 miles-per-hour. HART thanks you for your patience and understanding as crews work to complete Rail Project work.
