Fire Station Open House

If you are looking for something fun, educational, and unique to do with your kids, look no further! The Greenwood City Fire Department is hosting a free open house event Saturday, October 14th from 11am - 1pm at Fire Station #1 (909 S. Main St.). Participants can go through the fire safety house, an obstacle course, and the kids can actually use a hose to fight a fire! There will be cool stuff for kids of all ages, and they can meet some of the men and women who keep our city safe from fire. We look forward to seeing you there, and lets all do our part to prevent fires from damaging lives and property in Greenwood!



Oktoberfest

Don't miss Oktoberfest, beginning at 5:30 with opener Jake Bartley Duo and the AMAZING Transit Vocal Band beginning at 6:30 pm.  Also a special announcement and video presentation will take place at 6:15.  Uptown Greenwood has received a very BIG Award and we can't wait to share the news with you all!
