The club has been busier than ever and we're now planning our largest stand to date to show off our fabulous little cars at the NEC Classic Motor Show next month. In addition to featuring some of our members cars we are so lucky this year to be exhibiting a Figaro with under 3,000 miles on the clock. The car has been supplied by The Figaro Shop and is finished in the sought after and limited Topaz Mist colour. According to Toby Brooks the car has some unique touches and is really a sight to behold. We hope you can join us for a chat and a coffee during the weekend. Members can also save money on tickets. How to calculate your mileage?
"But surely I just look at the Odometer right?"
Well yes, but believe it or not, this may not reflect the 'true mileage' of your car!
As you know the Figaro was manufactured in Japan where Kms is the unit of measurement. As the car was never officially exported by Nissan (grey import) it requires a small modification to comply with local driving laws (depending on the country). This modification is to fit a small card into the speedo so if you look closely at it, it should have an 'MPH' card stuck within the dial. This simply ensures the needle shows MPH in (which is in large font) around the outside making it easier to see what speed your are doing. However, although the speed will be showing in MPH your Odometer (distance log) will still show Kilometres! Most Figaro owners live with this and when they sell or MOT their car they enter 'Kilometres' as the known total distance the car has travelled.

Rear Light Refurbishment
 For years there have been limited options to resolving the 'dulling' of our lovely rear chrome light surrounds, until now! The Figaro Shop have at last found a supplier who can re-chrome the plastic units to almost new condition. This really was one of only a handful of parts on the Figaro which you could never restore to 'as new' condition. Although costly (from £66.00 each) for those looking to get their Figaro back to 'showroom condition' it could be an option. Members can save money on this with their discount code. Read more

How the club started
My son Daniel had always wanted a Figaro, having seen the car at our local garage when he was just 16. After saving for a number of years (plus a small contribution from his mum and dad) he brought an Emerald Green model in June 2008.
Following the purchase we scoured the internet for a members club in the hope that we could attend events with other owners, but were amazed that none existed...and so the Figaro Owners Club was born! We decided to build a website and forum which took 6 months, and on the 1st March 2009 we pressed the 'publish button' and waited to see if anyone wanted to join. Within a week we had 10 members, a month 35 and a year 478 members.
Today the club has around 1,600 members worldwide in countries including New Zealand, Japan, Australia, USA, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden and many more.
We are grateful to you and all our other members for help and encouragement throughout our journey as the club has grown into a passion which has taken over our lives - we FIGure in a good way.
