This week's adventures...
The weather this week certainly posed challenges in our hot classrooms! I think we are all looking forward to the fall cool down that is sure to be in our near future. Although the heat tried to shift our attitudes, we remained on course and had a great week! Today's SUPER ending to the week included faculty and students dressed in their finest super hero attire! The excitement throughout the building was evident and this evening's festivities are sure to be an enthusiastic extension of our Super Hero Day! I do look forward to seeing many of our school families tonight for food, fun, games, prizes, and photo opportunities! Thank you (in advance) to all of our SEC reps, as well as the volunteers giving of their
time
this evening to ensure the successful execution of our first school wide event!
Thank you to all of the parents, grandparents and family members who attended this week's CORI sessions. It was so exciting to see so many individuals wanting to be involved in our school! Your dedication and offering of your TIME, TALENT and TREASURE is critical the continued success and vitality of our school. I cannot thank you enough for taking the first step in becoming more involved in our efforts!
I look forward to seeing our students' household pets on Tuesday for the blessing of the animals! While we have not been able to uphold this tradition for a few years, we are pleased to bring it back to our school community! Please note the specifications and details found in this newsletter that will make for a smooth and prayerful pet blessing!
This weekend we turn our calendar as well as our faith focus to the month of October, which is dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary. As a school family, we will be focusing our eyes, readying our hearts, and increasing our love of Our Blessed Mother as we pray a daily decade of the rosary throughout the month. Please consider making a commitment at home to support our efforts by praying the rosary at home.
Have a great weekend and counting on seeing many of you tonight!
