News to Note
Save Your Coffee Cans!
Metal or foil-lined coffee cans with lids are needed for the Christmas Boxes! After the cans are wrapped in Christmas paper by the "elves" of Third Monday Studies, the cookie baking team will fill them with their fresh-baked cookies to be placed into each family's Christmas Box. A collection bin will be at the Reception Desk. Sorry, but PLASTIC CANS CANNOT BE USED because of their irregular shapes.
Caring Friends
Homebound members long to stay connected to the church. Caring Friends is Westminster's visitation ministry that makes this possible by providing one-on-one friendship and fellowship to members who can no longer attend church on a regular basis. Caring Friends visit, call, and/or send notes or cards to their care receivers. Anne Gunn was our recent coordinator and is stepping down. Thank you, Anne! Sue Weissinger has become the new coordinator. If you are interested in this visitation ministry, please contact either Sue (302-652-5910, [email protected] ) or Jill Getty (302-220-7081, [email protected] ).

Volunteers Needed for New Meal Ministry
When you are adjusting to a new baby, recovering from surgery or illness, or dealing with a crisis, the thought of fixing a simple meal can sometimes overwhelm even the most organized person. Our goal is to provide some meals to those WPC members in need to get them through the first few days or weeks. If you are interested in learning more and/or volunteering, please contact Mercer Watt at [email protected] or (610) 247-6315. We will need your name and preferred method of contact (either email address or phone number). Please join us. All cooking abilities wanted!
