CYF Mon Valley Regional Office is moving The Mon Valley Regional Office of the Office of Children, Youth and Families (CYF) will move to its new location on Monday, October 2. The last day of service at the previous office was September 28. The new address is:  355 Lincoln Highway, Suite 5 North Versailles, PA 15137 Parking is available in front of the building in the main lot. If traveling by bus the closest stops are at 15736 and 15734 on the P76 or the 55. The phone numbers for the main office (412) 664-8900, as well as all caseworker and supervisor phone numbers will remain the same.

Creating stable, permanent housing solutions for local youth Ending youth homelessness in Allegheny County may seem like a daunting goal, but the Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking to do just that .

Educating the community through resource fairs Each year, the Department of Human Services (DHS) participates in approximately 100 community and legislative fairs to share information on programs and services with Allegheny County residents .

PEERs advocate and empower residents of long-term care facilities In 2002, the Pennsylvania State Office of Long Term Care expanded its efforts to train and certify volunteer ombudsmen to include the residents of long term care facilities. These resident volunteers are trained by staff ombudsmen to act as Pennsylvania Empowered Expert Residents (PEERs), advocating and asserting rights for themselves and fellow residents .
